L-Dopa for CP

Any conductors, parents, other professionals out there? Does anyone have any experience in the use of L.Dopa for a child with athetoid CP? it has recently come up as a suggestion for one of our kids and i'm a bit bemused about it and had never heard of it being used for CP before. I am aware of its use for people with PD but never CP. Does anyone have any knowledge, exprience etc...

I feel that we conductors become islands as we are often working alone or in small centres. I have one conductor colleauge and many conductor friends but i still find that in amongst the everyday work we forget to examine what we do, we forget to look back at what we were trained to do, and to see if we are doing the best job that we can.

So i hope to use this blog to not only examine my own work under the scrutiny of others but also to encourage others to look at their work too. I welcome your thoughts, comments, advice or critisism and hope that you will enjoy reading my blogs.
